This winter, we will be fundraising to support our Cooking at Home project as well as our Care Meals service.

Cooking at Home supports cooking education, and provides recipe-led grocery boxes for those at risk of food insecurity. Our care meals service operates all year round, delivering hot healthy meals to elderly and vulnerable adults.

Within our Cooking at Home offer, we aim to inspire families to explore new flavours and techniques and gain confidence in cooking from scratch.

Our current funding for the project is coming towards an end, and so we are seeking funding to be able to support the onward development of the programme during 2022. Every £20 could provide a grocery box full of fresh ingredients, recipes and resources together with online support, cook along videos and guidance.

Our Care Meals service provides hot meals for vulnerable and elderly Southampton residents. We are raising funds over the Winter period to help us provide an extra special Christmas and New Year’s Day meal for our customers, as well as festive gift bags for our Erskine and Potters Court residents - including fruit, mince pies, Christmas crackers and other small gifts.

Any excess funding will support our care meals service all year round, to ensure that we can continue to provide healthy hot meals for those who need them.
