Filming and Editing Apps
Where do you even start? There is app after app for filming and editing - and many of them free. You will be spoilt for choice having a browse on whichever app store you use. Whether you are filming on a smartphone, or a digital camera and, using a computer or transferring your clips - there are endless options to choose from.
Each will give you a range of different functions - the ability to splice in slow-mo sections, or tweak the lightning, or even add some captions. You may even find that you like social media video apps - if you are old enough and able to access them - for the ease, even if you don’t share the end result, but save it ready to enter.
It really depends on what style you want to create, and whether you’d just like to give your video a light-touch edit, or go all out.
Below are a few recent articles that might help you explore the choices, and give you some hints along the way. There are many help articles online, if you get stuck too. Most importantly, have fun, play, experiment and enjoy creating!
