INGREDIENTS

  • 50g butter

  • 50g flour

  • 500ml of milk

  • 250g grated cheese

  • 350g any short pasta

  • 200g left over ham, finely chopped

Start adding the milk slowly, stirring into the flour and butt er mixture until you have used all your milk and you have a smooth white sauce. Add ¾ of the grated cheese and stir until melted. Season.

3. Add the pasta and ham into the sauce and mix until well combined.

4. Pour into an oiled ovenproof dish and sprinkle the rest of the grated cheese on top.

5. Cook in moderate oven until golden on top and piping hot.
